AUTOMATED CUT-OFF MACHINES

Mayo Engineering supply a range of bespoke, purpose built casting cut off machines, these are available in both semi-automatic, where the operator physically pulls the blade down as shown in the first photograph opposite, or in fully auto versions, where the blade and cutting table are automatically controlled, using joysticks, as shown in the second photograph.

 

Semi Auto machines can be supplied with a range of cutting disc sizes and speeds, and Full Auto machines, are always custom built to suit a specification application.

 

Applications for our Cutting Machines include:

  • Bar Stock Cutting
  • Cutting of Small Castings from a Cast Investment Cast Assembly
  • Cutting of IGT and Turbine Blades
  • Custom Applications

Automated Knock Out Machines

We supply a range of Investment Casting Knockout Machines, these are generally vertical type, where the mould is either manually loaded onto an anvil, where the hammer then comes down automatically via the touch screen controls, or the mould can be loaded via a robot. We have supplied these machines throughout the world. Various options are available including automatic doors and waste shell conveyors.
